Shenzhen evowera Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “evowera”) develops applications for mobile devices (hereinafter referred to as the “applications”) and communicates with the hardware devices of evowera through the applications and interacts with users on smart mobile devices (hereinafter referred to as the “services”) so as to allow users to read and use health data easily and use the hardware devices of evowera in a healthy and scientific manner.
This Privacy Policy explains to you how the information you provide to us when using the evowera app products and services is collected, used, disclosed, processed and protected, and what rights you are entitled to, when you are using the applications and services. This Privacy Policy applies to all evowera devices and the corresponding applications and services. evowera has control over the applications.
Please read the Cookie Statement and Software Terms of Use carefully before you use evowera products or services. By registering, logging in, browsing, and using the evowera app products and services, you acknowledge that you have read, acknowledged, and accepted all of the terms described herein, including any amendment we may make. We undertake to protect the privacy, confidentiality and security of your personal information in compliance with applicable laws, including the data protection laws in your jurisdiction.
Personal Information: When you use the evowera app for the first time, we may collect data about your email address, phone number, area code, profile picture, nickname, gender, time zone, language and region, your registration time and your registration IP, and send you a verification code to complete your registration. Or we may collect information (including profile picture, nickname, registration time and registration IP) from your bound third party accounts (such as Facebook, Google+, WeChat, Weibo accounts) and complete your registration via third party authorization. The privacy policy of a third-party social network platform is available on its website or application.
Information in the process of connecting your device: Depending on the type of your smart device, we may collect: IP address, WiFi information, device Mac address and device Bluetooth Mac address.
Device data: After you use an evowera smart device, we will record your device SN, brushing time, brushing duration, brushing strength, brushing torque, bristle swing, brushing posture, brush head lifespan, device power, firmware version information, toothbrush binding/unbinding status, set device label (including default name and custom name you set), and cleaning mode. The above data can help calculate the intervals of your teeth brushing, the time required to brush your teeth, and the suitable cleaning strength and help you avoid sensitive areas when brushing your teeth. We provide services to you based on the above data, which will be obtained and used in accordance with provisions of the laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, as well as Article 6.1(b) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 regarding the provision of services using data.
Our services are not directed to users under the age of 18, so we require the consent of a parent or guardian, as required by applicable law, before collecting toothbrush data about any user under the age of 18. If you agree, we will collect data about toothbrushing habits and usage of the minor under your guardianship and link or push them to your evowera app account, including information about the brushing duration, brushing times and brushing habits of the minor under your guardianship. For the purpose of convenience, we will monitor the brushing habits and usage of the minor under your guardianship, and will always ensure that the brushing data of the minor under your guardianship will be properly protected when being collected and processed, and will not be used for any other purposes.
Location data: We may collect your location data when you are using any location-based program services or features (e.g. pushing official purchase links of evowera smart devices).
App usage tracking information: including app version.
We collect your personal information to provide you with products and/or services and we undertake to comply with applicable laws. evowera may integrate your device usage data, application data, service data, and evowera store browsing and transaction data, and the integrated data will be used to constantly improve and update evowera products so as to provide you with a better user experience.
Your data will be stored by evowera in the country or region where you are located in accordance with the laws and policies of the country or region where you are located. If you are an EU user, your personal data will be stored on the server located in the EU, and under Article of 6.1(b) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679, evowera will not transfer or exchange it outside the EU.
evowera may also use some of your data for cooperation with third parties. Before sharing your data as necessary for such cooperation, evowera will first obtain your written consent.
During our cooperation with a third party, you have the right to ask evowera about the use of your data at any time after you agree to the use of some of your data, and evowera is obliged to give you a detailed answer. If you do not agree to the sharing of your data, evowera will not share your data with any third party.
evowera will request any third party organization or individual which has obtained your data to take appropriate measures to protect your data security and privacy.
In the event of any changes in the company structure of evowera, such as a merger, acquisition, reorganization, and sale, the ownership of and obligations with respect to all data will be automatically transferred to the new company and its departments.
During your use of the application and services, the application will request information such as location from you. Some permissions are essential for your use of the application, and you will read the relevant content on the user interface and be required to make choices. The permission requirements for different mobile device platforms are as follows:
iOS: location permission, permission to use cellular data, camera permission, album permission and Bluetooth permission.
Android: location permission, permission to use cellular data, camera permission, album permission and Bluetooth permission.
You have the right to remove your account and delete all data about you under any circumstances. Unless you do perform the data erasure or remove your account, evowera will keep your usage data for a long period of time in accordance with the laws and policies of the country or region where you are located. Meanwhile, such data infusion complies with Article 6.1(b) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
In certain circumstances, evowera will remove your personally identifiable information from data about you and retain the remaining data, which may be used for purposes other than product development and upgrade.
Please be aware that you have the right to choose to reject the requests for permissions mentioned in this Privacy Policy, but this will affect your use of certain features of the application and services. evowera will carefully protect your data and make our every effort to properly use it. We attach great importance to the security of your personal data and will seriously perform this Privacy Policy.

Minors shall not create their own personal information subject accounts without the consent of their parents or guardians.
If parents or guardians have reasons to believe that the minors have submitted personal information to us without their prior consent, they may contact us to delete such personal information.
Before collecting, using or disclosing personal data of minors, evowera requires the consent of their parents or guardians.
Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, resident users in California have the right to request information from us free of charge every year to learn about the personal data disclosed to third parties by us for direct marketing purposes in the previous calendar year (if any). If applicable, such information will contain a list of the types of personal data shared and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared such personal data in the previous year. We will update our Privacy Policy from time to time and post the updated Privacy Policy on our website and application. The date the Privacy Policy was last updated and the version of the Privacy Policy are indicated at the beginning of the Privacy Policy. We will notify you of any changes to this Privacy Policy by email, telephone, or SMS depending on the scope and impact of such changes. If you do not take any action, you will be deemed as having consented to the updated Privacy Policy.
